What You’ll Do

• Lead innovation and development of our robotic interoperability offering, designing scalable solutions across mobile robot and IoT platforms

• Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical capabilities with business needs
• Collaborate with company leadership on roadmap
• Interface with robot vendors for integration partnerships
• On site or virtual deployments, debugging, demos, webinars, etc.
• Mentor a growing team of robotics engineers

Required Qualifications

• Senior development experience with Python, ROS2, Docker, REST APIs, and other communication protocols
• Experience with mobile robot fleet management systems, ideally multiple commercial mobile robot platforms and APIs (Bluebotics, MiR, OTTO, Dematic, Omron, Kuka etc.)
• Proven track record of:some text
  • Delivering solutions in manufacturing/logistics environments
  • Architecting complex robotics solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Ms or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Background in manufacturing/logistics automation
• Experience with IoT (Kepservers, PLCs, etc.)
• Up to date with robotic innovations, and/or contributions to robotics open-source projects

Additional Requirements

• Must be willing to relocate to Detroit
• Travel required approximately 25% of time
• Authorization to work in United States
